BestBrewChallenge 2026: Register now and be part of the world’s largest simultaneous beer brewing event
The international brewing community is invited to register now for the BestBrewChallenge 2026. Organized by Palatia Malz GmbH, this annual event is considered the world’s largest simultaneous community brewing event and is aimed at hobby brewers and breweries of all sizes around the globe.
From April 20 to 26 a beer of a specified style will be brewed simultaneously worldwide – this year, a Dark Wheat Beer brewed exclusively with BEST Wheat Malts and BEST Roasted Malts (please find an overview here).
The BestBrewChallenge offers brewers the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity under uniform conditions – from recipe development to the joint publication of brewing moments under the hashtag #bestbrewchallenge.

Brew the dark wheat beer between April 20 and 26
Submit your beer creation by June 15
The beers will be evaluated in a blind tasting by a jury of professional sommeliers. Each beer submitted will receive an individual sensory evaluation. To this end, three liters of the competition beer must be submitted by June 15, 2026, at the latest. The winning beer will be brewed on a larger scale and served at the BESTMALZ booth at BRAU Beviale in Nuremberg from November 10–12, 2026.
