BestBrewChallenge 2025: 164 Shades of Oatmeal Stout

From March 28 to 30, 2025, brewers around the world brewed an Oatmeal Stout for the BestBrewChallenge 2025. Leading in the number of participants is Lithuania with 60 registrations, followed by Germany (42) and Czechia (34).

The BESTMALZ team is eagerly awaiting beer submissions, which must arrive in Heidelberg by May 30, 2025, to be eligible for the competition.

The winning beer will be brewed on a large scale and served at drinktec in Munich, the world’s largest trade fair for the beverage and liquid food industry. The award ceremony will also take place there. The BEST-placed brewing team will win travel and accommodation for two people.

All submitted beers will be professionally judged. Participants will receive feedback along with a T-shirt.
