International Craft Beer Award 2022: Brauerei Schützengarten from Switzerland awarded as “Craft Brewer of the Year international”
For the ninth time, Meininger’s International Craft Beer Award, one of the best-known beer competitions, took place in Germany in April 2022. A total of 261 beer specialities were awarded for their great qualities. More than 30 award winners travelled to the festive awards ceremony to receive their certificates.
The Schützengarten Brewery became “Craft Brewer of the Year International”. The brewers from Switzerland repeated their success from 2020 with a total of one platinum, three gold and six silver medals.
BESTMALZ congratulates Schützengarten als well as all awarded breweries. In particular some breweries were honored with special awards: Vulkan, Kitchen Brew (Switzerland), Maisel‘s, CREW Republic, Doppelleu Boxer (Switzerland), Waldhaus Joh. Schmidt and Störtebeker.
